Our movie to be screened in the program of Anima Mundi festival in Brazil

Daniel Šuljić’s movie is in competition programme of Perspectives at the famous animated film festival in Annecy (France).
Stribor’s Forest by Milan Blažeković to be finished in July 2019
The picture of animated film “Stribor’s Forest ” (13 minutes) directed by Milan Blažeković has been finished. We are working on image editing and setting up of tones, music and voices. The last animated film by Milan Blažeković (1940-2019) will be completed in July 2019.
Restauration of “Escape” by Zvonimir Lončarić and “Happiness” by Zlatko Pavlinić
Two films in bad condition are currently restoring at Iridium film in Ljubljana! Those films are “Escape” directed by Zvonimir Lončarić from 1969 (6 min) and “Happiness” directed by Zlatko Pavlinić from 1976 (12 min). It is expected that restoration and digitalisation will be done by the beginning of summer.

In 1953, the Croatian Union of Film Workers founded a film company Zagreb Film, which was supposed to deal with all kinds of film activities, from distribution to production of shorts and feature films.
In 1956, Zagreb Film opened the Studio for Animated Film, where the continuous work on animated films in Croatia was resumed after a several year break.
Every Zagreb author has always worked in his unique style and had his own vision of the animation art (it remains so today).
Many people in the world associated with animation claim they can recognize Zagreb’s animated films by one sequence.
